It has almost become a cliché in our day and age to say, “Do the Christian thing,” or “What would Jesus do?” But great things happen when we reach out to one another, love our neighbors as we would love ourselves, and meet needs.
This really is the way we should be living every single day, regardless of impending apocalyptic events or not. Why does it seem like it takes something like worldwide disaster for us to come together and start being nice to each other?
Even though it seems the only “other worldly” explanation for what is happening is an abduction theory, I believe Abbey and her patients are missing a much more obvious and very real possibility, which is demonic possession.
In our own lives we sometimes have to accept things about ourselves that we may not necessarily like in order to make a difference in the people around us who need us the most. Our shape does not always end up being what we expected it to be.
All Larry did was seek for answers within his own religion and yet he just ended up with a ton more questions. How often have we felt the same way? Why does it seem like when we turn to God for answers all we end up with is more questions?
