I want my kids to have strong female characters to look up to. And yes, I think it’s terribly important for young girls to see strong, independent women in their entertainment doing incredible things. But more than that, I think that it’s important for young boys to see women in entertainment doing those things. So the question is: Are comics the right place to find those women?
