Christians, and yes including especially Evangelicals, have just as much divorce as any other group! Sad but true. This has caused some serious rethinking about divorce.
American is not simply 80% Christian. The problem comes when you try to define what a Christian is. Can a smoker be a Christian? Can a fat person go to heaven? Just what is a Christian?
As much as people would like to put Christians in a box they can’t. Christian are diverse as they should be. A report looking at the wide variety of Baptists makes this very clear.
