Girl Fight
Honest and Raw
Yet Heartbreaking

Girl FightGirl Fight is the 2011 Lifetime film based on the true story about a high school student who was beaten by teenage girls who all posted the video online. The movie stars Anne Heche, James Tupper, and Jodelle Ferland.

This movie is one of the most upsetting ones that I’ve seen in a long time. I was furious that a girl was beaten up while it was all being videotaped. Also, the attitude that these girls show about the case both in this film and in real life is just an outrage. The world can be a very scary place, not just for adults but for children and teens as well!

As for the movie itself, it is an honest and raw film and I applaud it for that. They don’t sugarcoat the crime. Although I do recommend the film, it may not be for everyone because it’s very graphic with the violence. To be honest, this is not a movie that I could watch on my own because of the heartbreaking reality of this story.

So, all in all, it’s a good movie. At the same time, I wouldn’t blame you if you turned your head during the violence. That is a scary scene. But if you can take it, then check out the movie because sadly, this is real and we need to be aware of it and put a stop to it. This behavior is unacceptable.

My prayers are with the victim and the girls who committed the crime. May the girl who was beaten be fully healed and reach out to other victims of bullying and help put an end to it. As for the girls who did this, may they all find God and work things out with the victim. Remember, we have a fair and wonderful LORD and He will help put a stop to this. It may not happen as quickly as we want, but it will happen.
