We hope to get a review copy of Corbin Bernsen’s latest film soon… but in the meantime, get this date on your calendar, if you’ve got satellite TV. Here’s a press release:
In conjunction with the All-American Soap Box Derby’s 75th Anniversary, family entertainment network INSP will air the worldwide television premiere of 25 Hill. The movie stars, and is produced by, Emmy® and Golden Globe® nominated actor/filmmaker Corbin Bernsen (L.A. Law, Psych).
WHAT
Twelve-year-old Trey Caldwell (Nathan Gamble of Dolphin Tale), is shattered when his soldier father is killed in Afghanistan, leaving a hole in the boys life and an unfinished Soap Box Derby car in the garage. A final gift from his dad, the car is a constant reminder of all that could have been. But when Trey meets Roy Gibbs, a grizzled Fire Chief devastated by the loss of his firefighter son on 9/11, a new relationship forms and old wounds finally begin to heal. As the unlikely team works to complete the Soap Box car and train for the upcoming Derby, theyll learn that life isn’t about the starting line or checkered flag; it’s about having the courage to make the incredible journey of faith in between.
25 Hill also stars Ralph Waite (The Waltons), Maureen Flannigan (7th Heaven), and Bailee Madison (Bridge to Terabithia). Music by Grammy® award-winners Third Day and Brandon Heath is also featured.
