More and more the internet seems to be taking over our entertainment lives. Streaming videos on computers, tablets, and Smartphones are becoming more and more common. And one new thing we are starting to see, YouTube channels that one can subscribe to and see new and exciting “shows.” Cue in Stan Lee’s World of Heroes.
For three quarters of a century, Stan Lee’s characters have made an impact on many peoples’ lives. Lee, who will be 90 this December, continues to be a living legend amongst geek culture. Not only that, but he continues to be very active, and always interacting with his fans. So it’s no surprise that he helps spearhead a YouTube channel that appeal to all geeks. Currently there are five shows: Fan Wars; Stans Rants; Mask & Cape; Geek D.I.Y; Cocktails with Stan, and more in development.
On the panel was Stan of course, moderator Jace Hall, and show contributors Peter David, Mark Hamill, Adrienne Curry, America Young, and Bonnie Burton as they presented clips and information on their shows.

Fan Wars
We’ve all had the arguments, who’s stronger, Superman or Hulk? Who’s richer, Bruce Wayne or Tony Stark? Who wins, Ms. Marvel or Wonder Woman? And so on and so on. Well, here it is, the place to solve all the debate. Fans, real fans, bring in all their arguments in front of a judge and jury, winner takes all. Jace Hall is the judge, and the jury consists of a revolving door of celebrities.
Stans Rants
Stans Rants is exactly like it sounds. Stan Lee rants about anything and everything he feels like. You know, important things, like how Superman flying isn’t practical because he has nothing that propels him, unlike Thor who has a leather band wrapped around his wrist so when he flings his hammer it clearly propels him to fly. J
Mask & Cape
Mask & Cape is a news reporting or geek culture channel. From comics to movies to cosplay, they’ll cover everything in geek culture.
Geek D.I.Y
Do you like cosplaying? Are you crafty? This is the channel for you. Bonnie Burton shows you practical ways for do it yourself crafts. From costumes, to lamps and different knick knacks, this channel has it all.
Cocktails with Stan
Hosts Jenna Busch and Stan Lee sit down with different celebrities within geek culture over some drinks, and chit chat about, well, the culture itself. From creating heroes and villains, to talking about fans, comics and of course, Comic-Con, this channel helps fans learn a little bit more about the celebrities and shows that they love.
