A production for the Internet generation, DANIEL is headed to Broadway and community theatres by way of Kickstarter.com, a platform the musicals composer and lyricist Lenny Solomon believes is the ideal first stage.
Kickstarter.com is a funding platform for creative projects, Solomon explains. This is a website where projects are crowd-funded. Investors can participate for as little as $2 and can donate as much as they want from there.
The musical has been written, says Solomon. ”The way Kickstarter.com works, we have thirty days to fund this project and bring DANIEL to life with full cast and orchestra, a book and a publishable score that any organization can use to produce the show.”

In Solomons case, to raise funding to produce the cast album for DANIEL IN BABYLON, he is offering digital song downloads to investors. People who pledge $2 pledge or more will receive the song In the Lions Den. Investors who pledge $5 or more will get two song downloads, In the Lions Den and Seeds. Those who pledge $10 or more will be able to download ten songs from the show, etc.
