Snow Is Coming

I think there’s snow on the way, Diary!

I was at the town’s bulletin board today (apparently a bird appears on it only when there are new messages posted on it, which I find to be very helpful) and one of the posts said that cold front bringing snow was expected to blow in tomorrow! Yeah! I love snow during the Christmas season. Plus, this will be my first snow in Bat-Cave, so I’m curious to see how it will transform the town. I don’t think I’ll sleep well tonight as I wait for the snow to come.

However, that’s not the only interesting thing that took place. I was talking to Bones today, and he presented me with an invitation to Redd’s. Finally! Everyone’s been talking about this place, and Kay has already been (and picked up a nice painting to boot). I was starting to wonder if I would ever get my invitation. Apparently it’s an invitation only kind of place, and Redd is said to carry things you just can’t find any where else. Well, tomorrow I will take my invitation and my three thousand bell fee for joining and see if Redd has anything worthwhile. While I’m excited about that, I’m also worried because I have heard a few shady things about Redd; he is a fox after all. We’ll see what happens, I guess.

Finally, I wanted to mention that while fishing today I caught a stringfish. Naturally I found this to be very exciting because they’re worth quite a few bells; like 15,000. Even though the Museum hasn’t had one donated to them just yet, I couldn’t resist the value of selling it to Nook. I’m sure I’ll catch another one, and that one I’ll donate…unless I still need the bells.

Well, that’s all for today. Tomorrow I’ll let you know if the forecast of snow was true. Fun times here in Bat-Cave!

Oh, one other note, diary, I found a peculiar looking lamp while running around today. It’s fairly bland and non-descript, and yet I can’t help but think it must be valuable. This is a mystery I’m determined to get to the bottom of; I’ll let you know how it goes.
