There isn’t much to this comic that makes sense. The plots are far-fetched, the characters are skin deep, and art leaves a lot to be desired(at least to start; as with most webcomics, it gets much better over time). Despite those qualms, the comic has 2 big things going for it: it literally makes me laugh out loud, and it’s free!
This particular webcomic follows the misadventures of Dr. McNinja (trained from birth in the ways of the Ninja, only to go off to medical school and become a Doctor), as he fights off evil in all it’s forms. Sometimes it’s the common cold, sometimes it’s a horde of Zombie Ninjas. Either way, the Doctor is in the house, and ready to take care of business.
As a I pieced through the classic tales online, searching for a quote to really give you a feel for what Dr. Mcninja is all about, nothing seemed more poignant than: “What Would Batman Do?”. This is the slogan the good doctor lives by. No matter what he’s doing, or who he’s facing, he always turns to the inspiration of the Caped Crusader to know what to do(I can relate).
I won’t say too much more about this piece, but it’s a must read in my opinion. So many things take themselves too seriously, but this strip seeks only to entertain. Read it. Read it. Read it. That’s an order from your friendly, neighborhood comics editor.
