You Have iCarly……
I Had Mary-Kate & Ashley!
My Thoughts on the Twins!

If you’ve followed my reviews (and sometimes my husband’s too) on here, you know that I have a soft spot for teen shows. They’re just so cute! The thing is, I was a 90’s kid and what I had was a little different. Let’s take a trip down memory lane and explore, shall we? OK then, here we go!

Growing up, Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen were all the rage. They started out on Full House and during that time until they were around eighteen, they released straight-to-video movies. When they were kids, they had to different series going on. One was where they were detectives and the other were party themed videos. I was always, always entertained, but I wanted more of a plot and the videos had more musical numbers than dialogue.

Things were different in their teen years. Their movies faetured them going through things normal teen girls go through, but they always involved dating and almost always kissing! Who can blame them, though? When I was a young teen, I couldn’t wait for my first kiss! I was so jealous!

Now, things haven’t changed too much. There are still teen shows and movies showing what teenagers go through. I just miss the days when I couldn’t wait for the next Mary-Kate & Ashley movie to be released. I wish I could keep that innocence thta comes with being a teen with me even though I’m all grown up. But, the memories are still there-and I cherish them.

So, thank you Mary-Kate & Ashley. You both live on in my heart and mind. May you continue to find success in the fashion world. Just remember that it was God that put you where you are today. Not Hollywood. I also thank Him that I got to watch such sweet, wholesome entertainment growing up.

Also, welcome to the entertainment world, Elizabeth Olsen. We may have a future Oscar winner on our hands! Just be sure to keep your mind on God and Jesus and you’ll be fine!

I used to think they were identical Strangely eougnh, they are fraternal twins so it’s a total fluke that they look as much alike as they do.I’ve never liked their style. I love Boho chic as much as the next woman but these two, for all their money, always look like they’re homeless bagwomen.
