Justin C. MartinMy name is Justin and I am in my mid-twenties and loving it! I am from small-town Illinois. I went to Bible college and then straight on to grad school at a state university. After that, I decided to go teach English in South Korea for a year to help pay for the next year of working with a non-profit Christian organization in Australia, South Africa, Chile and Spain - each for three months. I'm finally settling into my career in Public Relations or something related. To get a flavor of my media tastes, my favorite film is "The Shawshank Redemption", my favorite TV drama is "LOST" and my favorite TV comedy is "Arrested Development."

Looper
From Looper to Stupor
The Future is Dim

The stage is set in the year 2044. Bad guys from the future send back people they want to knock off so that the evidence of the hit will never be discovered. In other words, that whole ugly Jimmy Hoffa incident would have never been possible in 2074.

The Avengers
Antiheroes Assemble!
Do We Need Avenging?

To discover true heroics which have already saved and need not avenge, one must simply look up. See beyond a soldier with the name of but one country and discover a God who unites us all. Oh, and don’t forget the popcorn.

Warrior
A Broken Fighter
A Story of Healing

The main takeaway might be something a wise person once said, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle.” The title Warrior probably has more to do with the struggle to let go of the past and embrace one another than it does with MMA fighting.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides
Pirates Aren’t So Strange
But Pirate Zombies Are

Throughout the course of the movie we encounter zombies, mermaids, the fountain of youth, kings, Spaniards and, oh yeah, pirates. I am not sure the contents of this film are any “stranger” than what we have seen before.

The Rite
The Rite to Doubt
A Journey of Faith

Aren’t there enough exorcism movies out there? This one is well acted and kept me mildly entertained. Whether you’re a Christian who believes in the events of this film, an atheist who doesn’t, or an agnostic who simply doesn’t know, it will at least make you think a bit.
